Wing Chun martial arts (Fighting system) is known for its rapid movements and equally brutal power. It was discovered by Buddhist called Ng Mei in 1700 (approx.) in China. She was one of five finest fighters of that time. She had gain very respectful position in Shaolin temple due to her martial art skills. Her only motive behind establishing Wing Chun was to have a martial art which requires less strength and which can be learnt quickly and easily. One of her female student named Yim Wing Chun was with her during this experimentation and Ng Mei used her student’s name to recognize this form of martial art. Further Yim Wing Chun passed this Wing Chun Kungfu style to several generations.
One of the most famous student and practitioner of Wing Chun was Yip man. He not only introduced this style to outer world but also added his own skills to make it more effective martial art form. He was great warrior and also respected Kung fu Master. Yip man died in 1972 when he was in his late seventies.
